What is CMS? Definition and Types of Content Management System

What is CMS? is a system used to manage and facilitate the process of creating, updating, and publishing content together (collaborative content management). Content refers to information in the form of text, graphics, images, and other formats that need to be managed with the aim of facilitating creation, updating, distribution, search, analysis, and increasing flexibility to be transformed into other forms. The terminology of CMS itself is quite broad, including application software, databases, archives, workflows, and other tools that can be managed as part of a company’s or global information network mechanism.

Instant Content Management System applications that are widely available on the internet today are mostly made using the PHP scripting language and the database is MySQL.
